Natural variations: Subtle colour variations, markings and small air pockets are characteristic of concrete.

Care: Clean with mild soap and water only. Re-wax with a paraffin-based stone wax within two months of installation, then every six months depending on use and location. Use coasters and felt pads beneath objects, avoid hot items and acidic substances, and wipe away residual moisture to help prevent discolouration. If hairline cracks appear, apply wax promptly and rub in well to help keep moisture out.

Outdoor care: Place under a covered deck and protect with a furniture cover, or store indoors during inclement weather. Cover and raise off the ground; wax well before winter. Prolonged sunlight and water exposure can damage concrete. The black surface may become very hot in direct sun; check that it is cool before sitting.
