Our 100% Tencha green tea is grown sustainably by small farmers near Kyoto, Japan bordering the Uji region. Prior to harvesting, the leaves of the plant are shaded with a reed screen to produce a vivid green colour and a mild, sweet flavour.
The farmers hand-pick, gently steam, and dry the tea leaves before removing all stems and veins then production is completed in Shizuoka, packaged in air sealed containers ensuring it's received fresh every time.
