All of our products are available for shipping within Canada and the continental United States.
When will my item arrive?
We suggest to allow 2-4 weeks for in stock items. Please note that you may receive multiple deliveries per order. Delays in shipping and delivery with our third party partners can happen for various reason and are unfortunately out of our control.
When is my card charged?
All orders are charged in full at checkout.
Can I cancel my order?
Once you place your order you have 24hrs to cancel. After this time period a 15% restocking fee applies. Any custom made items are not eligible for cancellation after 24hrs. Please refer to our Return Policy for additional details.
What measurement units are used on this site?
All measurements are in inches unless otherwise noted.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes! Our 9200 sq. ft. store is located in the Trainyards shopping district in Ottawa, Canada.
Do you stock all items on your website in your showroom?
No. Most small decor is stocked. Select furniture pieces, art and lighting from our online collection are showcased. Features are ever changing. Please contact us If you'd like to know if we have a specific item you're interested in on the showroom floor to view or purchase.
What currency does your store operate in?
We recently updated our site to feature the currency in your area. You can now shop and checkout in USD or CAD!
Can I apply a current discount code to an already placed order?
If the order was submitted within the promoted time frame of the sale we will honour the sale. We cannot apply discounts to transactions made outside of the promoted sale time frame.
Where are your products made?
We source our products from over 60 suppliers around the world that manufacture in the USA, Canada, Mexico, China, Vietnam, India, Belgium and more. If you'd like to know the origin of a particular product, please contact us.
Can I combine discount codes?
No. Discount and sale codes are only applicable for one discount per order.
The product name on the box I received doesn't match what I ordered?
We use over 60 different suppliers and often times product names would get repeated between them. To avoid confusion, we rename most products on our site to names unique to us. Some packaging may arrive with the supplier's product name on the box instead of ours. If you have any questions or want to double check, we're always here to help.
LD Shoppe is located in Ottawa, Canada and charges the sales taxes (HST) applicable to Ontario. Orders shipped outside of Ontario are charged HST. Outside of Canada, we do not charge sales taxes at this time. You will be responsible for paying import duties, brokerage fees and current China tariffs to the USA if applicable. Note that not all items are subject to duties and tariffs. We ship to Canada and the US exclusively. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. If you live outside of our shipping area please contact us and we can quote a shipping charge.
Decor items are stocked in our warehouse and ship within 2-3 business days. Lighting, furniture, rugs and large art ship directly from the manufacturer to you. Each item and manufacturers have specific shipping lead times. Once you place an order we'll contact you within 48hrs to give you an approximate lead time. Once your item is shipped you'll receive a tracking number where you'll be able to track the package and know its exact delivery date. Orders with multiple items may have multiple tracking numbers and different arrival dates. Most items on the store ship within 5-10 business days. Items with longer lead times like made to order art and some lighting has the approximate lead times listed in the product description.
Items are shipped via Courier (Purolator, UPS, Fedex or Canada Post). Some of our larger items are considered oversize and may be shipped with a freight carrier. Please note STANDARD DELIVERY IS DOOR STEP ONLY. Meaning the delivery men do not enter the home or assemble the furniture. If you live in a building it would be brought into the lobby and no further. Other than beds and dining tables, most of our larger furniture pieces come fully assembled. Please ensure you are comfortable bringing it to its desired destination in your home or contact us to upgrade to White Glove Delivery. White glove service may be requested in certain areas at an extra cost. The service includes unpacking, minor assembly and garbage removal. Please contact us for Details.
Please utilize the order note section during checkout to specify unique situations the delivery company may encounter during delivery. No elevator, small doorway, etc. Please ensure items being order fit through and into their desired destination prior to ordering. If you have any questions about size please don't hesitate to ask. Additionally, if you would like us to add signature required, please let us know!
Delays in shipment or delivery can be caused due to holidays, busy season, weather or various other reasons. These delays are out of our control and can push the delivery window past the 2-4 weeks or lead time given at the time of ordering. We ask for your patience during these times as we do our best to ensure all items get to our customers as quickly as possible!
USA shipping fees are calculated by total order weight. Some oversize pieces may be subject to additional shipping charges due to size and distance. If your order requires extra fees, you will be contacted within 48hrs with a quote.
We do our best to feature in stock items but in some instances, products can sell out before we have the chance to update our website. If you purchase an item that is out of stock we will contact you with an estimated stock date. If the date isn't to your liking we will reimburse you 100% and/or suggest a similar in stock item. Please contact us for stock inventory and specific lead times.
Local Ottawa pick up
We offer free local pick up from our Ottawa store for orders under 40 lbs (decor, lighting, rugs and small furniture). Any large or heavy items are only available for delivery due to limited storage space at our retail location. Please note this option is currently only available to local Ottawa clients. Store hours are from Monday to Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm, Thursday & Friday 10 am to 9 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. We will contact you when your order is ready and pick up should be made within 7 days of being notified. Storage fees may apply if a product is warehoused for an extended amount of time.
Please note if your delivery is going to a beautiful lakeside cottage, picturesque country cabin or any lovely rural location you may be subject to additional shipping charges. We will gather a quote and send it your way after placing your order.
